About Alpine IQ

Alpine IQ was founded in 2019. At its inception, Alpine IQ developed a groundbreaking tool to manage customer data compliance across multi-state/ provincial regulatory environments. About the role

As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in our finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with accounting principles. Your responsibilities will include performing month-end close procedures, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, assist with audits, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

What you"ll do

  • Perform month-end close procedures including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting needs.

  • Collaborate with external auditors during year-end audit procedures.

  • Provide support for financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting as required.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Assist in the implementation and optimization of accounting systems, particularly NetSuite.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification required.

  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in SaaS industry.

  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.

  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is essential.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
