Description: We are offering an exciting opportunity for an entry-level civil/highway designer to join our award-winning highway/roadway practice in our New York City office. Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of conceptual alternative and final design plans for highway, roadway, interchange, and drainage projects
• Assist in the design and production of traffic control and staging plans and traffic, signing, and striping plans
• Perform geometric designs and plan development utilizing a variety of computer design software, including MicroStation, AutoCadd, InRoads, AutoTurn and GuideSign
• Assist in the design of ADA-compliant facilities, including sidewalks, shared-use paths, and intersection curb ramps.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
• Zero- five years of civil engineering experience
• Detailed-oriented, self-starter, and comfortable working in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with MicroStation V8i experience with Bentley In-Roads (preferred)
• EIT certification and prior internship experience are (preferred)

Benefits: Salary range - $72,000-100,000 annually. Salary commensurate with level of experience.
