Process Engineer Tech at Precept Staffing – Laurens, South Carolina

Job Requirements:

• 11p-7a Sun-Thurs some weekends may be needed
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

DUTIES:

• Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in production processes and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automated processes.
• Collect and analyze data to monitor process performance and suggest enhancements.
• Assist in assembly tasks, ensuring that all components meet quality specifications.
• Provide support to process upgrades or new installations.
• Programming Horizontal and vertical CNC milling machines / CNC lathes
• Setting up process to ensure production, delivery and quality meets all specifications.
• Develops machining process, designs fixtures and machining tools in cooperation with headquarters.
• Responsible for achievement of company goals with regards to quality and productivity. This includes tracking, monitoring charts and assessing, developing and following through with necessary action plans.
• Set-up of production equipment and machining cells to meet customer timing and quality together with setup technicians.
• Training of set-up technicians on existing and new production systems/processes.
• Overall Equipment Effectiveness, housekeeping, scrap and overtime through proper maintenance of the equipment and the building.

RELEVENT EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 4 Years exp in Aluminum
• Exp. with Fanuc Robots
• Flexibility (2nd shift and possible shift change)
