Service Technician at Potamkin Payroll – El Paso, Texas

Hyundai of El Paso is looking for Automotive Service Technician with a passion toward excellence with the Southwest leader in Sales and Service.

As a technician you will work with the latest tools and software applications to diagnose, maintain, repair, and upgrade some of the most advance systems in the consumer market today.

• Automotive Service Technicians Job Responsibilities and Duties
• Test drive vehicles to reproduce and evaluate the customer’s concern.
• Diagnose intermittent drivability faults.
• Perform standard maintenance of factory-recommended intervals.
• Perform inspections and make recommendations for repair.
• Provide additional aftermarket maintenance flushes and service to extend the life of worn assemblies.
• Keep a clean and orderly workstation.
• Perform repairs according to approved procedures.
• Assist in shop maintenance and cleaning as required.

• Must be a team player with a good working attitude.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with two years of experience.
• Electrical diagnostics and experience resolving engine operating faults.
• Shop equipment is provided but you must supply your own hand and pneumatic tools.
• Previous experience working in a dealer service center not required nut desirable.
• A clean driving record with no DUI convictions is mandatory for full employment.
