We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator at our corporate headquarters in Romeoville, IL.

Pay and Benefits

• Starting Pay Rate | $23.00/hr- $25.00/hr (Based on Experience)

JOB DUTIES:

This individual supports our Transportation department and works close with the Transportation Manager. This position is responsible for managing the timely flow of orders and reduces transportation costs through effective consolidation of orders. Tasks will include, but is not limited to, the following:

• Plans and coordinates the transportation of materials in the most cost effective and timely manner possible.
• Supports sales and purchasing by providing transportation quotes, consolidating orders, and coordinating pickups and deliveries with carriers.
• Provides high level of customer service to CTI employees across all branches and all outside vendors.
• Maintains visibility to shipments and orders in transit to ensure timely delivery and works with carriers to minimize delays.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

A high school education is required. A minimum of 1-2 years of transportation experience is preferred. This position requires intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are required. Individual must be detail-oriented, able to prioritize multiple tasks, and can work well independently. Must be reliable.
