Dough Mixer/Maker at Hot Cookie – Palm Springs, California

Job Description:
Like most ready-to-eat food restaurants, Hot Cookie serves a variety of customers from all backgrounds. Cookie Dough Makers need to be able to work independently and efficiently. We expect Cookie Dough Maker to pay attention to detail and have a high understanding of food safety standards while working in a team-oriented environment and possess a great work ethic.

Duties Include:

• Inventory management

• Make delicious cookie dough and other treats

• Carrying up to 50lbs.

• Testing new doughs and ingredients

• Weigh and measure ingredients

• Tending to the automatic machines used for making dough

• Cleaning and sanitizing dough station

• Following detailed instructions

• Organizing and maintaining storage areas

• Putting away inventory

Qualifications

• Possess or willing to acquire a Food Handling license.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Experience with Mixing doughs (Minimum 1 year desirable).

• Experience with Inventory Management (Minimum 1 year desirable).
  
  

Physical Demands:
You will be required to carry up to 50 pounds of supplies and equipment. Please note that the Castro store is three levels and staff must move supplies between floors.

Compensation:

Hot Cookie offers full-time employment (30+ hours per week). Full-time employees receive health care benefits after the first 90 days.
