  Saturday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  Sunday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  
• Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM

The Kennedy Collective is seeking a dependable Janitorial Worker to support federal facilities in Newport, RI. This role provides essential cleaning and sanitation services that help maintain safe, professional, and well-maintained work environments.

What You’ll Do

• Clean and maintain assigned interior spaces including restrooms, offices, common areas, stairwells, and break areas
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, recycling, and surface cleaning
• Operate cleaning equipment and use approved cleaning products safely
• Replenish supplies as needed
• Perform exterior maintenance as assigned, including walkways and entrances
• Complete work according to federal contract specifications

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred
• Ability to work independently with good judgment and reliability
• Willingness to work the assigned schedule consistently
• Ability to pass required federal and state background checks
• Ability to obtain Department of Defense clearance if required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning equipment
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to bend, stoop, stand, and walk for extended periods
