Safety/ QA Specialist, Journeyman at Ai Signal Research Inc – Patuxent, Maryland

AI Signal Research, Inc. (ASRI) is recruiting for the NAWCAD AID effort in Patuxent River, MD.

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Months/Years of Experience: Of the minimum three (3) years of experience required, at least one (1) year of experience must be directly related to the DoD.

Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizen. Must have a DoD security clearance.

Skills Needed: Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

Duties: Provides professional knowledge and expertise in the operation and support of environmental health and safety programs in compliance with regulatory agency guidelines and institutional policies, NAVAIRINST 3710.1 series (Contractor's Flight and Ground Operations), and DFARS 252.228-7001. Provides coordination and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy working environment in the areas of aviation material readiness, radiation safety, biological and chemical safety, environmental protection, physical safety, hangar safety, industrial hygiene, fall protection, and other safety procedures and processes in support of departmental and institutional safety programs. Performs Inspection and Quality Assurance (QA) for contractor programs applicable to the contract.
