Project Engineer Internship at Sterling Construction Company, Inc. – Salt Lake City, Utah

The Construction Management and Civil Engineering Intern is responsible for assisting the Project Management, Field Supervision and/or Estimating departments on a construction project either at the project site or divisional office.

Working side by side with experienced Project Managers, Field Supervision, and/or Estimators provides an excellent environment for both academic and career growth.

The intern will be responsible for assisting project engineering, project accounting, and superintendent staff with daily duties including but not limited to: managing project document flow, taking progress photos of jobsite, submittal review and approval process, RFI process, change management process, and any other duties specific to each jobsite.

The intern should be proficient with Microsoft Office. Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, excellent communication skills, ability to read construction drawings are essential. Dependable transportation is required.

• Preferably a Junior or Senior
• Minimum GPA 2.75
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Science or Construction Management
• Past construction work experience is preferred
