Position Summary

As a Reconstruction Foreman, you will support Project Managers by assisting with active reconstruction projects, completing punch-list items, and fulfilling work orders to bring projects to completion.

This role is ideal for a skilled trades professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, efficiency, and professionalism while working in customers’ homes. A successful Reconstruction Foreman can complete punch-list work and project tasks in a timely manner while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers during active reconstruction projects.
  • Complete punch-list items to bring projects to Certificate of Completion (COC).
  • Perform work orders and project tasks as directed by Project Managers.
  • Assist with applicable warranty claims and follow-up repairs when needed.
  • Maintain efficiency on all projects by managing time, materials, and tools responsibly.
  • Ensure quality workmanship and monitor other trades’ work while onsite, reporting any concerns to the Project Manager.
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients while maintaining empathy and strong customer service.
  • Maintain a clean and professional jobsite, including daily cleanup and proper workspace organization.
  • Wear protective coverings (booties) when entering client homes if floor protection has not been installed.
  • Keep the company work truck clean, organized, and presentable for vehicle inspections.
  • Provide Project Managers with clear material lists needed to complete assigned tasks.
  • Refer all questions regarding insurance coverage, scheduling, estimates, or billing to the Project Manager.
  • Come to work each day with a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

  • Tile experience required.
  • Experience in construction, reconstruction, restoration, or related trades preferred.
  • Ability to complete punch-list work and small project tasks independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with homeowners and team members.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor including bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.

Schedule & Availability

  • Full-time position.
  • Work hours may vary depending on project schedules and jobsite needs.
  • Occasional overtime may be required to meet project timelines.
