Position Summary
This position is for a Quality Inspector at our Anaheim, CA facility. The Quality Inspector works closely with the Operations and Product Development teams to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections in support of both commercial and government programs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials and components
- Perform in-process and final inspections on manufactured products
- Ensure materials and products meet quality standards in accordance with company policies and ISO 9001 / AS9100 procedures
- Identify and segregate nonconforming materials and generate nonconformance reports
- Support supplier quality initiatives
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Proficiency with basic inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.)
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Basic math skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with AS9102 First Article Reports is a plus
Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
- A US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15? (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to ITAR restrictions.
- Experience with ERP systems
