Job Description

RN - EAMC RADIATION ONCOLOGY PHYSICIANS

  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • Provides specialized patient care and education for patients receiving radiation consults, follow-up appointments, and therapy.
  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
    • Minimum Education
      • Associate’s degree in Nursing.

    • Minimum Experience
      • 2 years of nursing experience in an oncology setting or completion in an internship/fellowship in oncology or a minimum of 5 years Registered Nursing experience

    • Required Registration/License/Certification
      • BLS obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer
      • ACLS must be obtained within 12 months of DOH or transfer
      • Registered Nursing License

    • Preferred Education
      • Bachelors or Masters degree in Nursing

    • Preferred Experience
      • 5 years of oncology nursing experience

    • Preferred Registration/License/Certification
      • Oncology Nursing Certification or obtained within three years of hire within the department

    • Other Requirements
      • N/A
