Sr Financial Analyst at Jobgether – India

In this role, you will act as a key finance partner supporting Technology and FP&A leadership, driving financial transparency, governance, and cost optimization across a complex technology environment. You will play a critical role in managing and analyzing labor and vendor spend, ensuring accuracy in forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting. The position focuses heavily on labor financial governance, including invoice validation, rate management, and Opex/Capex classification. You will leverage financial systems and ITFM tools to generate insights that improve decision-making and strengthen cost discipline. Operating in a highly collaborative environment, you will work closely with Finance, Procurement, Technology, and PMO teams. This is a high-impact role where strong analytical thinking and financial rigor directly influence enterprise-level financial efficiency and accountability.

You will be responsible for end-to-end financial planning, analysis, and governance across technology-related spend, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and optimization of labor and project costs. You will act as a trusted advisor to leadership by providing insights that support strategic investment decisions and operational efficiency.

• Partner with FP&A and Technology leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and long-range planning
• Deliver monthly and quarterly financial reporting with insights on spend trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
• Own governance of internal and external labor costs across contractors, vendors, and technology teams
• Validate and reconcile vendor invoices, labor hours, and rate cards against contracts and agreements
• Maintain labor rate benchmarks and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
• Ensure accurate Opex vs. Capex classification and support audit readiness and compliance requirements
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support decision-making and investment planning
• Collaborate with Procurement and Vendor Management teams on negotiations and renewals
• Manage technology financial reporting and allocations using IT Financial Management tools such as Apptio
• Build dashboards and reporting tools using Excel, Power BI, and automation platforms to enhance financial visibility
• Support project governance, including business case evaluation, cost tracking, and ROI analysis

This role requires strong financial analysis expertise, experience in IT or technology finance, and the ability to manage complex financial data with precision and accountability. You should be comfortable working across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

• 5–8+ years of experience in FP&A, IT Finance, Technology Finance, or related financial roles
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• Strong experience in labor cost management, invoice validation, and vendor financial governance
• Solid understanding of Opex vs. Capex classification and financial compliance principles
• Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and reconciliation skills
• Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools
• Experience with Apptio or other IT Financial Management tools is highly preferred
• Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Pages, workflow automation) is a plus
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
