Job Summary
The HR Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This position is responsible for ensuring accuracy and consistency across HR processes, systems, and documentation — including leaves of absence, employee terminations, job postings, organizational updates, and reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, people-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities Include: (But not limited to the following)
Leave of Absence Administration
- Coordinate and process employee leaves of absence (FMLA, CFRA, disability, personal, etc.), ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
- Communicate with employees and managers to provide updates and documentation as needed.
Employee Data & Systems Management
- Supports Corporate Payroll process with employee terminations, transfers, and status changes in ADP or other HR systems.
- Support data‑cleanup initiatives, including identifying inconsistencies, resolving errors, standardizing data fields.
Recruitment & Job Management
- Update and maintain job descriptions and assist in the development of new ones.
- Post job openings on external job boards and internal career pages.
- Partner with HR and hiring managers to track open positions and candidate activity.
Reporting & Analytics
- Generate and distribute standard HR reports (headcount, turnover, LOA tracking, etc.).
- Support HR leadership with data analysis and ad-hoc reporting requests.
Organization & Process Support
- Maintain and update company organization charts.
- Assist with HR projects, audits, and process improvements.
- Support employee lifecycle events such as onboarding, offboarding, and status changes.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in an HR coordinator, HR assistant, or operations role.
- Systems: Experience with HRIS/HRMS platforms (ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred).
- Bilingual: English/Spanish
