In this role, you will lead the design and execution of platform-wide risk strategies, focusing on payments, account security, and communications integrity. You will collaborate with multiple product, engineering, and analytics teams to identify systemic risks and implement scalable solutions that protect users while maintaining a seamless experience. Acting as a technical and strategic leader, you will define risk policies, automate enforcement, and guide incident response during high-stakes events. This position requires deep domain expertise in trust, safety, and fintech operations, paired with the ability to translate complex threats into actionable initiatives. You will influence cross-functional teams, mentor product leaders, and contribute to building a resilient, secure, and compliant ecosystem. • Define and execute multi-year risk strategies across payments, account security, and communications abuse
• Architect scalable risk frameworks, including signals, policy engines, and enforcement mechanisms
• Lead high-complexity initiatives across multiple teams to integrate risk protections into core products
• Partner with executive leadership on risk appetite, loss targets, and balancing security with user experience
• Drive automation and internal tooling to reduce operational burden for risk and operations teams
• Manage high-severity incidents, coordinating rapid mitigation, hardening, and executive reporting
• Mentor and guide product managers and engineering leads on risk best practices
• Conduct vendor evaluations and integrate advanced data models into automated risk controls
• Communicate strategic proposals and technical documentation across stakeholders

Requirements:

• 7+ years of product management experience delivering platform-level systems
• Deep expertise in fintech, payments, trust & safety, or security at scale
• Proven experience in AI-driven risk mitigation, automation, and operational efficiency
• Ability to influence executive stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
• Technical understanding of system architecture, event-driven platforms, and enforcement frameworks
• Strong data fluency with SQL and metrics-driven decision-making
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, particularly in strategic proposals
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• Experience with account security patterns, fraud prevention, and risk platform design is a plus
