Position: Robotic Process Automation Developer

Reports To: Manager, ApplicationsPosition SummaryThe Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer is responsible for designing, developing and testing RPA workflows and supporting the implementation of the RPA solution. Works closely with the RPA Business Analyst to document process details and business requirements. Works closely with the business in implementing and testing the solution, as well as maintenance and change control of existing artefacts.Major Responsibilities
Compensation
The typical hiring range for this position is $85,000 – $110,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.

Works closely with the RPA Business Analyst to document process details and business requirements. Works closely with the business in implementing and testing the solution, as well as maintenance and change control of existing artefacts.Major Responsibilities
- Timely delivery of the assigned automation (including reporting)
- Responsible for the quality of the assigned automation
- Build relationships with key stakeholders
- Coordinates with Business Analysts and Technical Lead in translating business requirements to RPA solution deliverables
- Provides guidance and assists with process design from automation perspective
- Responsible for creating and maintaining process documentation
- Responsible for estimating automation duration
- Test and QA RPAs before passing to internal stakeholders
- Optimize queries and RPA performance to acceptable standards
- Troubleshoot production RPAs
- Ensure documentation standards are maintained
- Adhere to Seapeak change control and RPA request procedures
- Provide support to first-line RPA support team
- Provide recommendations and feedback on RPA design and scope
- Occasionally, work outside of normal business hours to accommodate your internal customers
- Some international travel may be required
- 5 years of relevant experience in Robotic Process Automation
- Excellent programming/software development background
- Skilled at maintaining documentation, code migration between environments and bug fixing
- Proactive problem solver and strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex requirements and define technical/functional solutions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written, to explain technical aspects to business people and relevant stakeholders
- Well organized and able to work effectively with others. Able to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner, with minimum guidance or prompting
- Proactive, dependable and positive attitude
- Previous experience working with UiPath RPA technology
- Previous experience in application or implementation support domain
Compensation
