- Prepare monthly management reporting packs with insights and variance analysis (actuals vs. forecast)
- Support board and investor reporting (metrics, narratives, and financial highlights)
- Build and improve KPI dashboards across:
- Revenue, gross margin, contribution margin
- CAC, LTV (as applicable), retention/cohorts (as applicable)
- Inventory turns, working capital, and cash runway
Manufacturing & cost analysis (domestic vs. overseas)

- Analyze labor, overhead absorption, freight, duties/tariffs, and scale efficiencies
- Model inventory requirements and working capital implications of different supply plans
- Identify and evaluate grant/incentive opportunities tied to manufacturing and capex
Capital planning & strategic finance support
- Support cash flow planning and runway management; highlight key risk drivers and levers
- Assist with equity/debt modeling and preparation of materials for lenders and investors

- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills; comfortable building structured models from scratch
- Solid analytical fundamentals (you can translate messy inputs into clear drivers and assumptions)
- Detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and comfortable working with imperfect data
- A self-starter with a high-ownership mindset; you follow through and improve what you touch
- Interested in startups and gaining real operational exposure
Nice To Have:
- Background in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, or another quantitative field
- Familiarity with manufacturing cost structures (labor/overhead, absorption, yield/scrap, freight, tariffs)
- Exposure to hardware and/or SaaS unit economics (COGS, margins, contribution, CAC/LTV)
- Basic SQL or BI tooling experience (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) for dashboarding
🌟 Why join Cosi Care?
