Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Lake Regional Health System – Osage Beach, Missouri

Lake Regional Health System is looking for an outgoing, professional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. With our state-of-the-art hospital and network of clinics, therapy sites, and pharmacies, Lake Regional offers a wide range of employment opportunities in our community.

Job Responsibilities

• Promotes customer satisfaction through competent professional practice and focuses on patient needs and expectations.
• Adheres to the patient-focused care agreement, acts as a change agent
• Presents a professional approach and appearance, a calm, caring, and reassuring demeanor
• Greet patients warmly and respectfully, demonstrating compassion
• Document patient care in the electronic medical record
• Respond in a timely manner and keep patients informed while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all privacy and protected health regulations.
• Operates as an active part of the team, uses constructive problem-solving, promotes a positive approach to all tasks, refrains from criticism.
• Plan and document care, implement and communicate it to the multidisciplinary care team, review and evaluate the effectiveness of the plan, and document response.
  Delivers high-quality service and helps control costs in a safe environment
• Escorts patients to the exam room and documents chief complaints
• Ensures patient safety, uses supplies efficiently, uses equipment properly, exhibits awareness of patient's rights and respects them at all times, responds to patient requests promptly

Qualifications/Requirements:

• An annual influenza vaccine is required
• Graduated from an accredited Practical Nursing Program
• Current Missouri LPN License required
• Experience preferred but not required
