What You’ll Do

As an LVN at Caregiver, you’ll provide direct nursing care and support to individuals with IDD in residential and community-based settings. Working closely with RNs and other team members, you'll help ensure individuals receive high-quality, person-centered health services.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to physicians’ orders
• Conduct routine health assessments and monitor vital signs
• Observe, document, and report health conditions and medication responses
• Support individuals during medical appointments and emergencies
• Provide training and guidance to direct support staff on health protocols
• Collaborate with RNs, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with all applicable nursing standards and agency policies

Qualifications

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License – State of Texas
• Valid Driver’s License
• At least 1 year of LVN experience (preferred within the last 3 years)
• Strong interpersonal skills and a heart for supporting individuals with disabilities
• Commitment to professional standards, teamwork, and compassionate care
