Position Overview
Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on projects involving the inspection, cleaning, coating, repair, and modification of concrete structures, including prestressed composite tanks. This role is responsible for executing projects in the field, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence while coordinating closely with Project Managers and field crews.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and train field personnel to execute project scope efficiently
• Plan, schedule, and track project progress and milestones
• Identify and resolve field issues, coordinating with Project Managers as needed
• Oversee inspection, cleaning, coating, and repair of concrete structures
• Prepare and submit field reports and documentation in a timely manner
• Supervise jobsite crews and support workforce planning and assignments
• Maintain safety compliance and enforce company standards on all job sites
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients regarding project status

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction or field experience (infrastructure, concrete repair, coatings, or water/wastewater preferred)
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and field operations
• Experience leading crews and managing jobsite activities
• Ability to read and interpret project documents and specifications
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and fit testing
• Comfortable working at heights and in active construction environments
• Preferred: AMPP (Coatings) and/or ACI (Concrete) certifications

Work Environment

• Combination of field and office work
• Travel required with overnight stays
• Active construction site conditions including noise, dust, and varying weather
