With on-site staff housing available, this role is ideal for someone ready to step away from city life and build a hands-on, stable career in resort operations.

We are currently hiring a General Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities and Maintenance team. This position plays an important role in maintaining buildings, grounds, and guest spaces to ensure a safe and positive experience for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete assigned maintenance work orders and record materials used
  • Perform minor building repairs such as fixing faucets, unclogging toilets, replacing light bulbs, switches, and outlets
  • Assist with preventative maintenance and larger maintenance projects
  • Support event room setup and teardown
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and supply inventory
  • Respond to maintenance requests and emergency situations in a timely manner
  • Follow safety procedures and WorkSafeBC regulations at all times
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
  • Perform snow removal and seasonal grounds maintenance
  • Learn and assist with generator operation and emergency switch-over procedures
  • Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • General maintenance or labour experience
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
  • Ability to work on-call shifts when required
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Strong communication skills and dependable work habits
  • Knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations
  • Own basic hand tools considered an asset
  • Experience with skid-steer or snow removal equipment considered an asset

Position Details:

  • Full-time, year-round position
  • Minimum 6-month commitment required
