2. GENERAL JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic Principal Learning & Development Consultant to design, drive, and deliver impactful learning initiatives that support organizational capability building across the APAC region. This role will partner closely with global and regional stakeholders to develop learning strategies, implement competency-based development frameworks, and deliver high-quality training programs aligned with business priorities.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in learning strategy, instructional design, training delivery, and global program management, with the ability to influence stakeholders across geographies.

3. SCOPE

Knowledge: A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position.

Complexity: Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.

Supervision: Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.

Should be a learning partner for the region covering end to end of identification, development, facilitation and partner to achieve the business needs.

5. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Learning Strategy & Capability Development

• Partner to enhance the COE learning and development strategy aligned with global learning priorities and business objectives.

• Identify skill gaps and build targeted development programs to strengthen organizational capabilities.

• Partner with business leaders and HR teams to create scalable learning solutions that support growth and transformation initiatives.

Content Development & Instructional Design

• Design and develop engaging learning content, curriculum, and training materials across multiple formats (classroom, virtual, and digital learning).

• Build role-based learning journeys aligned with competency frameworks.

• Ensure content follows modern learning methodologies including blended learning and microlearning approaches.

Training Delivery

• Facilitate and deliver high-impact instructor-led and virtual training programs for employees and managers across COE.

• Support leadership development, professional skills training, and functional capability building.

• Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously enhance programs based on feedback and learning analytics.

Leadership Development

• Design, implement, and continuously evolve end-to-end leadership development programs across career stages (first-time managers, mid-level leaders, senior leaders).

• Partner with business leaders and HRBPs to diagnose leadership capability gaps and translate business needs into targeted development interventions.

• Lead the creation and delivery of blended learning journeys (workshops, action learning projects, coaching, assessments, digital learning).

Global Learning Programs

• Partner with the global L&D team to roll out enterprise learning initiatives across the COE’s.

• Customize global programs to ensure regional relevance while maintaining alignment with organizational standards.

• Drive adoption and engagement with global learning platforms and initiatives.

Competency Frameworks & Career Development

• Program manage and lead the competency framework globally and independently with minimal supervision.

• Work with HR and business leaders to map competencies to roles and career paths.

• Support development of competency frameworks that enable performance growth and internal mobility.

• Design development plans aligned with roles and competency requirements.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with global and regional leadership teams, HR partners, and business stakeholders to align learning priorities.

• Act as a trusted advisor on learning and capability development across COE’s.

• Manage vendor partnerships and external learning providers where required.

Learning Measurement & Continuous Improvement

• Track and analyze learning metrics and program effectiveness.

• Use insights and feedback to continuously improve learning experiences.

• Drive a culture of continuous learning across the organization.
