Works under the supervision of the Nursing Unit Managers or their designee to provide direct patient care as directed. Education, Work Experience and Licensure:

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program (registered or practical)


• Must be entering final 1-2 year(s) of nursing program. 2nd year for ADN programs and 3rd year in BSN programs.


• CPR required


• Nurse extern position is ended upon exiting the nursing program, either through graduation or withdrawal from the program
