Job Purpose
This position is responsible for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products, ensuring that all processes are conducted efficiently and accurately. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips. Record discrepancies and damages.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Conduct quality checks on received items to ensure they meet company standards. Report any defects or issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve shipping and receiving processes. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Address and resolve any issues related to shipping and receiving, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of shipping and receiving operations, including order verification, documentation, and packaging standards.
- Ability to inspect incoming materials for accuracy, damage, and compliance with quality standards.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and experience maintaining accurate shipment and receiving records.
- Very good time management skills and the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Very good attention to detail and accuracy
- Customer service oriented and ability to work with complex issues
- Ability to plan and arrange activities

Minimum Work Experience
Typically 2 or more years of related experience.
Preferred Education
Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Travel/ Physical Demands
Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. Required to lift up to 25 lbs.
