This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Offboarding Specialist - HR OPS Analyst in India.
This role sits within a global HR Operations environment focused on delivering seamless employee offboarding experiences across multiple business units. The position plays a key part in managing end-to-end separation processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a strong employee experience during transitions. You will work closely with HR partners, managers, legal, and external vendors to support both voluntary and involuntary exits. The role involves handling sensitive employee data with strict confidentiality while ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. It combines operational execution with analytical problem-solving in a fast-paced shared services setting. You will also contribute to process improvements and system efficiency using HR tools and case management platforms. This is a hybrid role with collaboration across global time zones, particularly supporting US-based operations.
In this role, you will manage and support the full offboarding lifecycle, ensuring accurate and compliant execution of employee separations across voluntary and involuntary cases.
- Handle end-to-end offboarding and termination processes, including severance cases, RIF support, and voluntary exits
- Prepare, audit, and manage severance documentation, payouts, and compliance requirements in line with legal and policy standards
- Analyze employee data, severance calculations, and decisional outputs to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Provide guidance to HR partners and managers on separation processes, documentation, and special cases
- Manage HR systems such as Workday and ServiceNow for case tracking, resolution, and workflow management
- Coordinate with external vendors for outplacement services and other employee transition support
- Troubleshoot employee queries and system issues while ensuring timely resolution and service quality
- Support compliance activities including tax, pension, and legal documentation updates
Requirements:
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in HR operations or shared services, with the ability to manage sensitive processes with precision and professionalism.
- 4–7 years of experience in HR operations, shared services, or employee lifecycle management
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- Experience working with Workday and ServiceNow case management systems
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications
- Exposure to ADP Enterprise (preferred) and HR transactional systems
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills beyond standard procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across all organizational levels
- High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
- Strong customer service mindset with problem-solving ability in complex scenarios
- Ability to work effectively with global stakeholders, including US time zone alignment
