About the Role
The Legal Clerk will perform administrative tasks to support the Legal and Operations teams with aspects of case flows for all phases in the case handling process. Responsible for updating and organizing case files in the case management system, drafting documents, completing case submissions within deadlines, and performing clerical tasks related to our client’s case.
Your Key Contributions
- Maintain and organize all client-related documents in the case management system and on-site storage locations to ensure smooth processing and retrieval.
- Review and manage USCIS and/or immigration court documents including RFEs, NOIDs, Interview Notices, Denials, judges’ orders and receipts, and DHS notices.
- Receive high-capacity incoming mail sent via scanned document from in-person Legal Clerk team and support required tasks including uploading into case file in case management system, updating notes, or launching task set. Ensure deadlines are met for responding are adhered to, in order to meet USCIS deadlines.
- Notify internal departments of case submission, case receipts, and other documents received from the government in order to ensure no missed appointments or deadlines are missed during the immigration process.
- Provide clerical work including updating cover letters, preparing shipping labels, and sending requests to local and federal government agencies.
- Utilize software to merge, create, and upload documents to shared drives or case management system.
- Responsible for creating accurate labels to support various steps in the process including case submissions, signature packets, biometric notices, and FBI requests. Ensure that labels are in compliance, free of errors, and avoid any delays in the legal process.
- Receive USCIS application forms from clients, review for completeness and accuracy, and initiate further action as necessary.
- Prepare immigration applications including paying filing fees, submitting application, and uploading proof of receipt.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- High-school diploma or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in an immigration legal environment, law office, or administrative support role preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish English) C1 - Preferred.
- Prior experience in an immigration legal environment, law office, or administrative setting preferred.
- Action Oriented - Demonstrates urgency and initiative in completing recurring tasks, managing document intake, and meeting strict filing and response deadlines. Proactively initiates next steps to ensure cases continue to progress without delay
- Collaborates - Works effectively with Legal, Operations, and internal support teams to share information, coordinate case activity, and ensure accurate and timely handling of client matters.
- Resourcefulness - Independently applies working knowledge of case management systems, tools, templates, and procedures to resolve routine issues and manage standard process variations.
- Instills Trust - Maintains accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance when handling sensitive client and government documentation. Produces reliable, error-free work that supports confidence in case handling.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
- Strong document management and organizational skills in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining accountability for output.
- Proficiency using case management systems and shared document repositories.
- Ability to review immigration forms and documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Experience preparing, merging, labeling, uploading, and tracking legal documentation.
- High attention to detail with consistent focus on quality and compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize competing deadlines.
- Independent problem-solving for routine issues with appropriate escalation when needed.
Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm EST

The pay range for this role is:
19 - 21 USD per hour(Dublin)
