Medical Assistant at Shore Medical Center – Somers Point, New Jersey

Position Summary
The Medical Assistant is responsible to support the physician and nurses in an effort to facilitate patient flow through the department and supporting the practice in its efforts to provide quality service to patients. The medical assistant will also perform phlebotomy functions as needed.

Minimum Requirements
• Certified Medical Assistant
• Certified Phlebotomist preferred
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• Knowledge and experience on a computer
• Accurately take and record vital signs and weights
• Knowledge of medical processes and procedures
• Knowledge of medical terminology

Salary Range - $18.39 - $26.03 hourly (Based on experience)
