Location: New York, NY (with travel across Lantern sites)

The Employee Relations Specialist supports the Employee Relations function by assisting in the review, investigation, and resolution of workplace concerns across multiple program sites. This role partners closely with site leadership to promote a positive work environment, ensure policy compliance, and support consistent application of employee relations practices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, exercises sound judgment, and is able to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
Essential Functions

- Support intake and documentation of employee relations concerns, including complaints related to conduct, performance, and workplace behavior.Assist in conducting investigations, including scheduling interviews, gathering statements, and reviewing relevant documentation (e.g., ADP, ETO, supervision notes, incident reports).Draft investigation summaries, corrective action documentation, and follow-up communications for leadership and site teams.Partner with site leadership to provide guidance on performance management, attendance concerns, and policy interpretation.Track and monitor employee relations cases to ensure timely resolution and proper documentation.Support conflict resolution and mediation between employees and supervisors, ensuring concerns are addressed fairly, consistently, and in alignment with company policies.Assist with progressive discipline processes to ensure consistency and compliance.Support training initiatives related to workplace conduct, professionalism, and compliance.Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.Support audits, reporting, and HR compliance initiatives as needed.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
