The Collections Supervisor leads insurance collections/followup activities through Collectors, ensuring timely account resolution; monitors collector work queues & ensures timely followup; tracks A/R aging and collector productivity & addresses barriers to resolution; partners with Billing on root causes impacting collections; this role will coach staff on payer-specific strategy, identify payer issues, serve as the subject-matter expert for payers, train new collectors, and any other duties as assigned by the supervisor. |
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum
- 3–5 years insurance follow-up/collections for government and commercial payers
Preferred
- 2–3 years in a lead or supervisory role
