Role Description
The Distribution Center Associate will be responsible for a range of tasks to ensure the efficient processing of incoming stock and materials, as well as fulfilling customer orders. This includes picking, packing, and shipping merchandise, as well as maintaining inventory and upholding quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Frame Handling & Cleaning: Safely accommodate and handle eyeglass frames, ensuring all frames are cleaned to meet quality standards.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, box, wrap, and pack merchandise in accordance with company procedures and standards to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Inventory Control: Assist with inventory management, maintaining accurate stock levels, and organizing items in the warehouse.
- Labeling & Tagging: Properly tag and label frames, create labels, and ensure all merchandise is clearly marked and identifiable.
- Returns Management: Handle returns efficiently, processing items to ensure they are accurately logged and returned to stock when necessary.
- Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and ensuring the workspace is free of hazards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
- Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed, including on short notice during peak periods.
- Strong attendance record with a high level of punctuality and dependability.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated reliability and commitment to meeting daily productivity and quality expectations.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Full-time onsite position based at our Vernon Hills, IL Headquarters
- Warehouse environment that may be fast-paced with interruptions, distractions, and deadlines.
- Exposure to varying temperatures, including warm and cold conditions.
- Moderate noise levels due to warehouse equipment and operations.
- May be required to stand for extended periods and work in different areas of the warehouse.
- Regularly required to stand, reach, talk, and hear throughout the workday.
- Occasionally required to sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
