DIXIE METAL PRODUCTS – Estimator

Dixie Metal Products (“Dixie”) is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the review of metal technical specifications, details, and contract language. The Estimator will be responsible for sales, estimating and negotiating infrastructure projects that are primarily miscellaneous metals and structural steel.

WHAT THE ROLE DOES:

· Responsible for sales / estimating and negotiating infrastructure projects in the Southeast United States.

· Projects are miscellaneous metals and structural steel.

· Generate sales leads, consult with general contractors and customers for infrastructure, municipal, and industrial projects.

· Create quotes for review of construction drawings and specifications for bid and detailed material take-offs.

· Obtaining and pricing projects for small structural steel and miscellaneous metals such as stairs, railings, ladders, grating, access platforms, etc.
