Environmental Coordinator at AGEISS Inc. – Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington

We are looking to place a Land Rehabilitation and Maintenance (LRAM) Coordinator on-site at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct vegetation removal and re vegetation activities to rehabilitate training lands on Army installations.

• Support the Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) program by contributing to sustainable and realistic military training environments.

• Implement land management practices that balance military mission needs with natural resource stewardship and environmental compliance.

• Perform improvements and repairs on disturbed land areas, including trails, maneuver corridors, and water crossings.

• Repair landscape damage to ensure safety and maintain long term availability of training lands.

• Help reduce environmental impacts caused by training activities and support the Army’s reputation as a responsible land steward.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science or Natural Resources Management, or related field

• Knowledge of best management practices for South Puget Sound prairie restoration or similar natural resources management experience

• Sustainable Range and ITAM Program knowledge and experience

• Experience creating and editing maps using ArcGIS Pro software

• Trimble/ArcPad or iPad/Field Maps experience

• Experience in data collection/management, project coordination, sustainable land use, land planning, training requirements integration, sustainable range awareness, land management principles, and report preparation

• Physical ability to conduct day-long field work across varying terrain and under differing weather conditions

• Strong written and oral communication skills and proficiency with MS Office applications (Word and Excel) is required.

• Successful completion of a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) clearance for a Common Access Card (CAC) is required.

• Individuals already possessing an adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) are preferred as well as prior Air Force experience.

• Motivated self-starters requested.
