Custodial Positions – Join Our Team at THPRD!

The Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THPRD) is hiring for part-time Custodian openings and we invite you to join our team!

Responsibilities Include:

• Daily cleaning and sanitization of restrooms, equipment and program supplies to maintain the health and safety of all participants and staff.
• Basic custodial techniques including: dusting, mopping, vacuuming, pressure washing, window washing, carpet cleaning, etc.
• Maintaining a helpful, professional and friendly attitude toward facility users and staff.

Scheduling:

• Flexible hours based on facility needs.
• Employees in these roles may work fewer than 1,560 hours per year.

Qualifications:

• Custodian I: No education or experience required. Must be at least 16 years old. The hiring range for this position is $19.19 to $19.78, based on experience and internal equity. The full hourly range for this job classification is $19.19 to $21.63. Staff may be eligible for a merit increase at the end of September.
• Custodian II: Related experience is required. Must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. The hiring rate for this position is $21.15, based on experience and internal equity. The full hourly range for this job classification is $21.15 to $23.85. Staff may be eligible for a merit increase at the end of September.

Job Classification Status

THPRD is hiring for multiple positions with hours that vary based on program needs.

• Part-Time Variable (PT): Work an average of fewer than 29 hours per week, with less than 1,560 hours annually.
• Seasonal: Work up to 40 hours per week for a maximum of six consecutive months.
