About This Position

Maintenance Mechanic
Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303

$22.88 - $34.33 an hour - Full-Time Evenings, 40 hours per week
+$2.00/hr for evening and weekend shifts

Boulder Community Health is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic who performs the necessary duties to maintain the physical plant and associated equipment of the hospital in good repair.

Qualifications
•Trade/technical or vocational training is desired.
•Valid Colorado driver’s license.
•3 years previous maintenance experience desired.
•Experience in a health care environment desired.

Responsibilities
•Repairs leaking faucets and drains.
•Repairs diaphragm and float type toilets.
•Installs minor equipment, (i.e. pictures, mirrors, bulletin boards, soap dispensers)
•Performs minor repairs to hospital beds.
•Adjusts door closures.
•Changes filters in air handling units.
•Responsible for preventive maintenance in assigned area.
•Keeps records and logs of work performed.
•Performs minor electrical repairs.
•Performs urgent corrective, routing and requisitioned minor repairs
•Maintains appropriate records to insure compliance with state, federal and Joint Commission regulations.
