Overview:
Contract - 1099 - Six months
100% on-site in the Midwest

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a complex heavy equipment manufacturing plant relocation initiative. This role will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of moving operations to two Midwest locations, ensuring minimal disruption to production and alignment with operational, environmental, and business goals. This role will be high exposure with executive management

Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project management for a plant relocation to multi-sites
Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, maintenance, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations
Orchestrate and delegate activities related to equipment move, and installation, and set-up
Validate inventory requirements and support demand planning efforts
Ensure alignment with asset maintenance strategies and operational readiness
Drive LEAN manufacturing principles throughout transition and setup
Oversee environmental remediation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Manage MRP processes (preferably SAP) to support production continuity
Develop data models and reporting to track progress, risks, and performance metrics
Present updates and recommendations to executive stakeholders

Required Qualifications:
Proven experience managing large-scale manufacturing or plant relocation projects
Strong background in heavy equipment manufacturing, including injection molding
Knowledge of demand planning, asset maintenance, and LEAN manufacturing principles
Familiarity with quality systems and environmental regulations
Hands-on experience with MRP systems (SAP preferred)
Strong data analysis and modeling capabilities
Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills
Ability to work onsite and travel 100%

Preferred Qualifications:
Background in Industrial Engineering or related discipline
Experience with multi-site manufacturing transitions
Demonstrated success working in fast-paced, high-impact project environments
PMP Certification
