Maintainer III at Bunker Hill Community College – Boston, Massachusetts

The Facilities Department is looking to hire a Maintainer III. The Maintainer III will be responsible for moving office furniture and equipment. The Maintainer III will perform janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, grounds keeping or maintenance tasks for upkeep of college buildings and grounds.

Responsibilities:

• Move office furniture and equipment
• Perform janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, and grounds keeping
• Maintenance tasks for upkeep of college buildings and grounds

Requirements:

• Two years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in building custodial or grounds keeping.
• Possession of a valid Massachusetts Class 3 Motor Vehicle Operators license.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills and attention to details are essential.
• Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with others.
• Must have physical stamina, endurance and be able to move heavy objects.

Additional Information:
Salary Range: $2,242.71 bi-weekly/$58,310.46 annually

Grade: 13 AFSCME Full-Time Benefited position.
