Live Event Production Manager at Mills James Inc – Cincinnati, Ohio

Mills James is hiring an experienced Event Production Manager In Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is perfect for professionals with a background in live event production, audiovisual management, and corporate meeting planning. You'll lead the planning, technical execution, and onsite management of in-person and virtual events for top corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of corporate event production from planning to execution.
Collaborate with clients and staff producers to create detailed statements of work.
Select and schedule the right AV equipment, crews, and virtual platforms (Teams, WebEx, Zoom, Brand Live).
Develop production timelines with clients, venues, and vendors.
Oversee setup, operation, and teardown of AV systems including audio mixers, microphones, speakers, cameras, video switchers, projectors, stage lighting, and networking equipment.
Supervise and schedule crews for live events, conferences, and hybrid meetings.
Operate and support PowerPoint presentations, livestream platforms, and both Mac and Windows systems.
Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively while maintaining a client-first mindset.
Manage multiple fast-turn projects with strong attention to detail and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, or related field; or 4+ years of event production or AV management experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel).
Working knowledge of AV technology, networking, and live-stream platforms.
Ability to learn and use MediaPulse facilities management software.
Valid driver's license; ability to obtain U.S. Passport and DOT medical card (if required).
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and client communication skills.
