Pay: Up to $35.00/Hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Drafter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on developing and updating electrical schematics, bills of materials, and visual installation documentation to support engineering and production efforts.

• Complete complex drafting and design tasks with minimal supervision
• Develop drawings and models based on verbal and written input from engineering teams
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure design accuracy, adherence to standards, and proper documentation
• Review drawings to confirm completeness and precision
• Maintain and track revisions for all project drawings
• Evaluate engineering drawings to ensure compliance with specifications
• Provide timely technical support and solutions to internal teams
• Participate in project meetings and conference calls as needed
• Prepare engineering documentation for customer submittals

• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks Electrical
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical is preferred
• Basic understanding of electrical design concepts and functionality is preferred
• Ability to create 2D layouts and schematic drawings
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Capable of reading and interpreting electrical schematics

• Associate’s degree in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Understanding of electrical manufacturing processes and their impact on design
• Experience with 3D modeling tools such as AutoCAD and Inventor is preferred
