About This Position
Summary
The Education Instructor provides aspects of nursing orientation, professional staff education and development, and patient education activities. This role promotes a learner-friendly environment to enhance employee skills and knowledge. The Education Instructor provides resources to encourage continuous learning and monitor progress to improve customer satisfaction. Aligns learning and performance initiatives with ARMC's strategic goals.
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, required or actively pursuing
- Previous teaching experience preferred
- Literate Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
Required Length and Type of Experience
Minimum of three years in Nursing
Required Licensure and Certification
- Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio.
- Certification for instructional programs developed by outside vendors may be required
Required Physical and Environmental Demands
- Must be able to teach for up to nine hours at a time. Must be able to operate a personal computer, audiovisual devices, and various office machines.
