Job Description
The Food & Beverage Operations Manager supports the day-to-day execution of banquet and outlet operations within the hotel. This role heavily involves hands-on service delivery, team support, and event execution, while assisting senior leadership with administrative and operational responsibilities. The position reports to the Banquet Manager and focuses on ensuring smooth banquet operations, maintaining service standards, and supporting restaurant and bar outlets during non-peak banquet periods.
What you will do
Assist in the planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of banquet events
Work alongside banquet captains and service teams to ensure events meet service standards
Serve as a floor presence during events, actively supporting service as needed
Ensure banquet rooms are properly set with equipment, linens, and décor
Monitor event flow and guest satisfaction, addressing issues in real time
Support communication between kitchen, service, and sales teams to ensure accurate execution
Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of banquet spaces
Provide operational support to restaurant, bar, or lounge.
Assist with opening/closing duties, service coverage, and guest interaction
Help ensure consistent service standards across all outlets
Step into service roles (host, server support, expediter) as needed
Team Support & Supervision
Supervise and support hourly staff during shifts, ensuring adherence to standards
Assist with training new employees on service procedures and expectations
Reinforce service standards, safety, and sanitation practices
Provide real-time coaching and direction during service
Guest Experience
Maintain a visible presence during events and service periods
Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve concerns promptly
Support delivery of consistent, high-quality service across banquet and outlet operations
What you bring
2–4 years of food & beverage experience, preferably in banquets or hotel operations
Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred
Strong service mindset with willingness to be hands-on in operations
Basic understanding of banquet service, restaurant operations, and food safety standards
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
