Cantonese Speaking Care Professional

Location: Richmond, BC
Position Type: Part-Time (Flexible Schedule)

We are currently seeking a Cantonese-speaking Care Professional who is compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care to seniors in our community.

About the Role

In this role, you will support Cantonese-speaking older adults by helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Responsibilities include:

Providing companionship and conversation, primarily in Cantonese

Assisting with personal care, including toileting, showering, grooming, and hygiene

Supporting meal preparation and light housekeeping

Assisting with errands and appointments as needed

Promoting client safety, comfort, and overall well-being

Completing clear and accurate documentation in English using our Care App (training provided)

Qualifications and Requirements

Must reside in or near Richmond, BC

Fluent in Cantonese and conversational English (required for documentation)

Compassionate, reliable, and professional

Minimum 6 months of caregiving or home support experience preferred

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle preferred (not mandatory)

Ability to pass a criminal background check

Assets (not required):
CPR/First Aid and Food Safe certification
