Building Blocks is a multi-service developmental and educational organization founded on the principle of helping children and adults reach their greatest potential. We are seeking a Qualified Pediatric Therapists to join our team! You will evaluate and treat children with developmental delays.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate children as a part of a team or independently depending on need;
  • Become proficient in all testing materials used;
  • Use provided templates to write a clear and concise report for the children tested and complete in a timely manner;
  • Work well as part of a team to collaborate on all aspects of the evaluation;
  • Adheres to all current federal and state laws, as well as Building Blocks’ policy and procedures, including the safeguarding of confidential healthcare information and compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
  • Report immediately any suspected incidents of child abuse or neglect to the Child Abuse Hotline.
  • Attends staff/agency meetings remotely
  • Perform all other duties relevant to the position as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of childhood developmental norms
  • Master’s prepared graduate degree
  • Physical Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Speech Language Pathologist
  • NYS Special Education Teacher
  • New York State Therapy License
  • Physical Therapy

  • Speech Language Pathologist
  • Special Education: Students with Disabilities Birth - Age 6
  • Outgoing, empathetic, and adaptable with the ability to connect and work with a wide range of different types of patients and personalities
