Job Description
REPORTS TO: President, UFG Manufacturing
SUMMARY:
In this dual role position, you will be responsible for managing marketing initiatives, supporting contract management processes, and ensuring seamless communication across teams. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the growth and success of our company. This position required occasional travel for events and trade shows.
KEY RESPONSIBILIITES:
Marketing Project Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Campaign Development and Execution:
- Oversees and manages marketing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet strategic goals.
- Create all marketing campaigns that support brand awareness, product launches, and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with the sales and management teams to develop strategies for online and offline marketing, including social media, email marketing, and event promotions.
- Maintain email lists for internal and external communications.
- Content Creation and Management:
- Responsible for the creation of marketing materials, such as brochures, case studies, and website content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and messaging.
- Manage the company’s digital presence, including website updates, social media platforms, and online advertising.
- Maintain timelines and records of current and future marketing programs.
- CET Platform Management:
- Own and maintain the internal CET/Configura platform, including updating manufacturer extensions and managing user licenses.
- Manage the accuracy of CET extensions to ensure furniture specifications are correct, eliminating human errors in part numbers and pricing.
- Coordinate with internal designers and engineers to ensure symbols are created and loaded promptly
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer needs, providing insights to the marketing team for strategy optimization.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize results.
- Event Management:
- Organize trade shows, product demonstrations, webinars, and other marketing events to promote the company’s products and services.
- Manage all aspects of marketing events, ensuring smooth execution and a positive experience for attendees.
- Budget Management:
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining the marketing budget.
- Ensure the company remains in the marketing budget outlined for the calendar year.
Contract Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Contract Preparation and Review:
- Draft, review, and manage contracts related to sales, suppliers, vendors, and customers, ensuring all terms and conditions are favorable and compliant.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that contracts are properly reviewed, negotiated, and signed in a timely manner.
- Maintain a calendar of renewal and due dates of contracts for all existing contracts.
- Assist in identifying contracts to pursue which include national, state, regional, co-op contracts, etc.
- Contract Compliance:
- Monitor ongoing contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions and address any potential issues or disputes that arise.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date contract files and records.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding contract-related matters, providing clarification and resolving issues as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the finance and procurement teams to ensure that contracts are aligned with budgetary and operational goals.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks in contract terms and propose solutions to mitigate them.
- Ensure that all contracts adhere to relevant industry regulations and company policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A legal or contract management certification is a plus.
Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in marketing coordination, with a focus on B2B or manufacturing industries.
- 2+ years of experience in contract management or legal administration, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting a plus!
Other:
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in marketing software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with contract management software or databases is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and trends.
- Occasional travel is required for events and trade shows.
- Work may involve occasional extended hours during project deadlines or events.
