About This Position
Pacific Maritime Group is seeking a technically strong IT Support Specialist to manage onsite IT operations across office and vessel environments. This role supports end users, administers core systems, maintains security controls, and ensures reliable connectivity between cloud and on-premise infrastructure.

This is a full-time on-site position
Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows workstations, servers, printers, and network devices.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for hardware, operating systems, business applications, and mobile devices (iOS and Android).
- Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Entra ID (Azure AD), SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Manage Active Directory user accounts, group policies, access controls, and multi-factor authentication.
- Perform system patching, endpoint updates, antivirus monitoring, and basic security hardening.
- Support cloud storage platforms and maintain backup integrity.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, license tracking, and technical documentation.
- Board vessels as required to perform onboard network setup, device installation, and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or higher with experience providing onsite IT support in a business or industrial environment
- Experience installing and maintaining Windows workstations, servers, printers, and network devices
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration, Active Directory, user access management, and multi-factor authentication
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows systems, business applications, and mobile devices
- Working knowledge of basic networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
- Experience maintaining system updates, endpoint security, IT asset inventory, and technical documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, including Virtual Machine deployment, VPN Gateway configuration, and site-to-site connectivity with local networks
- Experience managing or maintaining company website using WordPress
- Experience supporting or posting company content on LinkedIn, Instagram, or Facebook
- Experience running analytics reports using tools such as Google Business Profile insights, keyword performance metrics, and website traffic reporting
Physical Demands
- Ability to work onsite and safely board docked vessels, including climbing ladders and navigating confined marine spaces
- Ability to lift and install IT equipment
- Ability to sit, stand, and perform extended computer work with adequate hearing and vision

Salary
$26.00-$36.00 DOE
