Job Summary:
The GenVault Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying, developing and implementing sales strategies to generate leads, acquire new customers, and achieve sales targets for short-term and long-term cold storage needs for life sciences and research organizations.
Job Description:
As the Sales Executive you will identify, prospect, and develop potential clients within various industries to promote and execute on a strategic growth plan for biorepository services sales. You will leverage your expertise in this field to identify potential clients, influence existing industry relationships, build new relationships, and provide tailored proposals that meet clients’ cold storage needs while owning both the sales process and client relationships to ensure consistent delivery of revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
· Identify and prospect potential clients within various industries to promote biorepository services.
· Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, procurement officers, and executives.
· Conduct thorough assessments of clients' biorepository needs and develop customized solutions.
· Collaborate with GenVault’s VP of Sales to develop and execute strategic sales plan.
· Provide accurate and timely quotes and proposals to clients, ensuring alignment with their budget and requirements.
· Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to biorepositories, life sciences, research organizations and bio tech and tailor solutions based on these developments.
· Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and strategies to support sales efforts.
· Track sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics, providing regular reports to management.
· Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering guidance on compliance, security, and innovative storage management.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Previous Laboratory or life science experience is a must
- Previous Experience developing strategic accounts in an assigned territory required
- Proven and established network that will support strategic growth initiatives and awareness for efficient capture management
- Cold chain logistics experience is preferred
- Proven track record of managing entire RFP processes
- Must be a self-starter, willing to work hard and grow with the company
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Knowledge of ZoHo or similar CRM
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
- Have an outgoing, sociable, and extroverted mindset towards sales meetings, presentations, and network events.
- Valid drivers license
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree
· 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, laboratory and life science sectors
Job Type: Full-Time/Hybrid.
Work Location: Lakewood, CO
Salary: $100k to $112k plus commission
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting: Frequently lifting up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds
- Movement: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Vision: Close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision, and the ability to adjust focus
- Travel: Driving a car and traveling by airplane
