About Us
Lunajoy Health is a rapidly growing telepsychiatry company committed to transforming the landscape of mental health and wellness. With a strong focus on innovative solutions and exceptional care delivery, we support individuals through their mental wellness journey at scale. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly capable and strategic Chief of Staff to work directly with our CEO and executive leadership team.
Position Overview
The Chief of Staff is a critical partner to the CEO and a force multiplier across the organization. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring cross-functional alignment, and enabling the executive team to operate at its highest level. The ideal candidate is a structured thinker and a doer, someone who can zoom out to see the big picture and zoom in to get things done.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Support & Strategic Alignment
- Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the CEO on strategic priorities and organizational decisions.
- Prepare the CEO for meetings, presentations, and external engagements, including briefing materials, agendas, and follow-ups.
- Track and drive progress on company-wide OKRs, rocks, and strategic initiatives.
- Identify and close gaps between strategy and execution across all departments.
Cross-Functional Operations
- Lead the cadence of leadership meetings (L10s, all-hands, board prep), setting agendas, capturing decisions, and ensuring follow-through on action items.
- Act as a communication bridge between the CEO and the rest of the organization, translating priorities into clear direction for teams.
- Manage and hold teams accountable to project timelines, deliverables, and cross-departmental dependencies.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and drive solutions that improve efficiency and scalability.
Special Projects & Initiatives
- Own and execute high-priority initiatives on behalf of the CEO, from research and analysis to implementation.
- Lead or support new market launches, process improvements, and organizational design efforts.
- Represent the CEO in meetings and communications when needed, with full context and authority to act.
Organizational Health & Culture
- Monitor team health, morale, and performance, surfacing issues to leadership before they escalate.
- Support people and culture initiatives including onboarding, performance cycles, and employee engagement.
- Help build a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative culture across a remote-first team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a Chief of Staff, operations, strategy, or executive leadership role, preferably in healthcare, technology, or a high-growth startup environment.
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to synthesize complex information and communicate it clearly at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, comfortable working with data and ambiguity.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust quickly with executives, teams, and external partners.
- Experience working in or supporting a remote-first organization.
- Proficiency with tools such as Asana, Google Workspace, Slack, and AI-powered productivity tools.
Key Competencies:
- Strategic thinking and operational execution
- Executive communication and stakeholder management
- Project and program management
- Organizational awareness and cross-functional collaboration
- Problem-solving and decision-making under ambiguity
- Adaptability and bias toward action
- Discretion and sound judgment
Why Join Us:
- Be a key driver of a mission-driven company making a real difference in mental health and wellness.
- Work directly with the CEO and executive team in a high-impact, high-visibility role.
- Join a fast-growing, remote-first team with a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Significant opportunities for professional growth as the company scales.
