Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Supports the Director of Human Resources with all general administrative tasks and record-keeping functions of the Human Resource department. Provides both internal and external customers with information through confidential written and oral communications. Ensuring that all city, state, federal, and other applicable agency regulations are being met in a consistent and equitable manner. Conducts HR tasks in relation to recruiting/hiring, benefits enrollment/policies and onboarding and exiting employees.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Human Resources preferred
- Previous experience with FMLA, Benefits, Recruitment and other key HR processes preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources or a similar role required
- Equivalent experience will be considered
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills and ability to communicate effectively and prioritize tasks
- Excellent attention to detail skills with exceptional administrative and computer skills with the ability to multitask
ACCOUNTABILITY:
Reports to Human Resources Director
