2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor ($500 sign-on bonus!) in Salem, New Hampshire at Sals Production LLC

Summary: We are currently seeking a reliable, hard-working Manufacturing Supervisor for our expanding operation. In this role, you will be a valuable part of our production team, ensuring our production team meets quotas in a timely fashion while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. You will need to be reliable and punctual, able to perform physical tasks that are repetitive, and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and work with management to ensure that the core values, mission, vision, goals and policies of the company are being put into practice.
• Review production schedule and orders, product specs and any production issues that may arise.
• Coordinate the line set up for personnel and seeks continuous improvement.
• Assign personnel to work stations and provides direction.
• Provide training for all production equipment in compliance with safety.
• Document and keeps record of production for the line.
• Works with co-workers and other departments to prevent downtime.
• Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Food Manufacturing experience is a must.
• Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals.
• Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching.
• Able to operate industrial machinery.

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with a manufacturing environment within a leadership capacity.
• Ability to oversee 50+ employees in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing operations in a multi-temperature food industry environment.
• Experience leading a USDA, Safety Inspection Service (FSIS), and FDA plant required. Experience working in an SQF-certified facility is required.
