Job Description
Position title: Deputy Regional Advisor, Supply Chain – Central and West Africa

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical advice and support to CRS country programs on supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, fleet management, and compliance.
- Support countries in strengthening supply chain systems, processes, policies, and annual procurement planning to meet programmatic and donor requirements.
- Review and provide guidance on complex procurement processes, tender documentation, contracts, and due diligence to ensure quality and compliance.
- Support the effective use of ERP and other supply chain systems for planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Promote the use of supply chain KPIs and performance data to identify improvement opportunities and strengthen accountability.
- Support countries in addressing audit findings, implementing corrective actions, and managing supply chain risks.
- Contribute to regional capacity strengthening through coaching, mentoring, training, workshops, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with country, regional, and global stakeholders to implement supply chain strategies, standards, tools, and best practices.
- Support the integration of sustainability and climate considerations into supply chain and procurement decisions.
- Travel to CRS country programs as needed, up to 30%, to provide technical support and strengthen supply chain capacity.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in international supply chain, logistics, or procurement.
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, APICS).
- Experience managing Global Fund, USG food aid, or other large-scale donor programs.
