Warehouse Associate – Shipping & Receiving

Key Responsibilities

* Receive incoming shipments and verify merchandise against packing slips and purchase orders.

* Unload, unpack, count, and inspect incoming goods for accuracy and damage.

* Report shortages, overages, damages, and incorrect shipments promptly.

* Label, organize, and properly store received merchandise in designated warehouse locations.

* Pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipment to stores and customers.

* Verify all outgoing shipments for accuracy before they leave the warehouse.

* Process transfers, customer orders, returns, and other outgoing merchandise.

* Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.

* Keep shipping, receiving, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.

* Assist with inventory counts and help research inventory discrepancies.

* Follow established warehouse procedures to minimize errors, damages, and lost merchandise.

* Safely operate warehouse equipment and follow all safety procedures.

* Communicate effectively with warehouse leadership and other departments regarding shipment issues.

* Help maintain an efficient workflow and meet daily shipping and receiving deadlines.

* Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
